Work Trade or Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the local literary community and to give back to the community at large.

Our weekly class at the Fairweather Lodge brings creative writing prompts to the formerly homeless, and offers writers the chance to interact with this population in meaningful ways.

We also need volunteers to work our open community hours at either PorchLight on in the PromptPress Reading Room.

Simple maintenance projects, yard work, and trash take-out is helpfull as well.

PorchLight can offer these opportunities on a work trade basis. This work can be exchanged for use of our space for readings, book groups, or private work sessions.
