Mackenzie Dietz

MacKenzie is a developmental editor and certified book coach who especially enjoys working with neurodivergent writers. With over a decade of experience supporting writers of various genres and skill levels, her expertise is of particular use to novelists who lead with character, have at least one full draft, and seek to clarify and shape their work with intention and precision.

Katie Runde

"It’s so meaningful to me to help new writers clear that hurdle of establishing a practice and gaining confidence, to read their work with an eye to generative next drafts, and to provide high-level feedback to more established writers to refine their projects with a fresh eye, humor, and generative energy.

I am open to many genres. I think I work best with literary and commercial fiction, short story writers, and personal memoirists.  I have a special interest in family stories, coming-of-age stories, love stories, and in writers who have taken a break and are looking for a way back into a practice."
