Join us for an Open House and a celebration of our Writing Garden Series.

Help us celebrate the unveiling of PorchLight's summer long public arts project, The Writing Garden Sessions. Enjoy refreshments music and readings from the community members who have helped us bring the garden to life!  Take a peek inside PorchLight, and find out more about our organization.

The Writing Garden, a community garden building project, explores how the practice of planting can inspire creative writing. The project features six free planting and writing sessions, a celebratory reading, zine publication and garden unveiling on Sept. 7th. The leader of each session has greated a prompt for future garden users. Stroll along our garden path and take inspiration. Write a response and pop it in one of our garden mailboxes for future visitors to enjoy!
