Help us celebrate our two finalists and the winner of PorchLight's Iowa Writer's Residency.
Seth Thill is a poet and multimedia artist from Dubuque, Iowa. Thill has published work in various magazines and anthologies, including the Indiana Review, Pidgeonholes, Plainsongs, Poets on The Prairie, and more. Thill’s debut chapbook, Cover, Recover was published in 2022 through funding from the Hartman Reserve Visiting Artist program, and their visual art has been displayed at Cedar Valley Pridefest, the Hearst Center for the Arts, and elsewhere. They publish a twice-monthly poetry newsletter at seth-thill.ghost.io
Jenny Rowe is a bookseller at Prairie Lights in Iowa City. Her writing has recently appeared online in Touchstone and in print through The Hopkins Review. She holds an MFA in creative nonfiction from The University of Montana and served as the 2023-2024 Editor in Chief of CutBank. You can learn more about her work at jennyrowewriter.com.
