About the event
Please join us for a mixed-media art exhibition with Alex Ackerman and myself at Porch Light in Iowa City! This show is part of the “Taking Up Space” initiative through the Thrive Together Network for women artists worldwide to exhibit within the month of May.
The exhibition runs May 5 - June 5, 2023, with three opportunities to gather together, open during Porch Light programming, and by appointment.
• Opening reception with light refreshments is Friday, May 5th, 5 - 7 pm.
• Community Collage event will be on World Collage Day, Saturday, May 13, 1 - 3 pm. All materials will be provided for a collage activity for adults and children.
• The exhibition will close with the IC Gallery Walk, Friday, June 2, 5 - 8 pm, with an extra pop-up sale of smaller works, cards, and more by the artists.
Events are family-friendly and handicap accessible through the back entrance.
