The Long Project Check-in

PorchLight is happy to offer the "Long Project Check-in." This will happen on the fourth Saturday of every month from 1-2:30pm. Anyone working on a longish (30+ pgs.) writing project of any creative writing genre can join a round-robin style discussion. Participants may take up to ten minutes to describe their project, how it's going, and to read a short snippet (if they wish). Light positive feedback on the work may be given, but the purpose of the meeting will hover in the realm of talking process, finding light accountability and making connections. 

All are welcome to linger and chat after the meeting over snacks and coffee.  We hope this will be an opportunity for writers to make connections with other writers, writing professionals, or community literary organizers.
