The Long Project Check-in

PorchLight is happy to offer the "Long Project Check-in." Join us on the fourth Saturday of every month from 1-2:30pm. Anyone working on a long (30+ pgs.) writing project of any creative writing genre is welcome. Time in each session is divided between a quick writing excercises that ask you to envision your project through different lenses, and to articulate your roadblocks; a round-robin style discussion in which participants may take up to ten minutes to talk about thier project and ask questions of the group; and goal setting for the next month's session. The purpose of the meeting is to talk process, touble shoot, find light accountability and to make connections. 

All are welcome to linger and chat after the meeting over snacks and coffee.
