Image + Word for Teens

Service Description

This camp invites teens interested in either visual art or creative writing (or both!) to explore how images and words work together. We will try our hand at comics, art journaling, visual poetry, and learn how to create our own book bindings and zines. The week will culminate in an Image + Word exhibit for friends and family at PorchLight. Teens will come away with a finished project, new knowledge of techniques used for writing and art making and an increased confidence in themselves as creators.
