My name is Renee Zukin, and I'm a writing coach & mindset mentor, as well as an educator and long time Iowa City area resident. I'm so grateful to Jenny and Porchlight for offering this space to collaborate and support one another locally. Much of my work is conducted online: I hold weekly "Writer's Rooms" within my Rebel Writers Membership Community, a low cost group that provides support for entrepreneurs and creatives to work and expand in a supportive, engaging environment. I also hold writing workshops throughout the year, run a group program called, Write Your Way Home, that uses writing as a tool for introspection and healing, and work 1:1 with clients to create marketing copy for their businesses and creative projects. On a more personal note, I am working on my first full manuscript, a teaching memoir about embracing and transforming OCD & Anxiety in order to live a full, beautiful life. It's been in my head for years, coming out in bits and pieces, and I'm committing to putting it all together and completing a full draft this year!
